Our lab is dedicated to solving the unmet medical needs of liver diseases, including viral hepatitis, metabolic-associated fatty liver disease, and liver cancer. Our team has experts in a variety of research fields, namely, hepatology, virology, immunology, oncology, biostatistics, radiomics, and artificial intelligence, working in a multidisciplinary manner for the study of liver diseases. We have established several important long-term patient cohorts and small animal models and applied cutting-edge technologies to find useful prognostic biomarkers and novel therapeutic strategies for liver diseases. The platform we create will suit the purposes of clinical and basic research in hepatology, and help translate the understanding of liver diseases to enhance the quality of care for patients with liver diseases.
